The weather may be getting a bit cooler, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy a popsicle. I have been brainstorming on this recipe for Pumpkin Yogurt Popsicles since last year and was so excited when the folks over at Fresh Baby reached out to me about reviewing their Popsicle Mold. It’s a perfect time to try out the Pumpkin Yogurt Popsicle recipe!
If you are a pumpkin lover this recipe is perfect for you. The popsicles offer a slightly sweetened and creamy pumpkin flavored cold treat. Each popsicle provides nearly 9 grams of protein and less than 10 grams of sugar for less than 80 calories! A perfect lower calorie snack or treat for after meal time. The question is – will you be able to stop at one?!
Throughout my blogging days I have experimented with several different popsicle molds and even tried out the old fashion cup method. None of the molds or methods provided an easy way to make popsicles. The cup lining stuck to the popsicle, and the popsicle got stuck in most of the molds. Clean up always requires time for soaking the molds.
I have finally found a popsicle mold I will use for the long haul, the Fresh Baby Popsicle Maker. It has been the easiest popsicle mold I have tried thus far. I wont say the frozen popsicle just popped right out, but after running the bottom under room temperature water for a few seconds I was able to easily push up on the silicone material of the maker and push the popsicle out. The popsicle adhered nicely to the green leafy top holder and was easy to handle while consuming. My taste testers of all ages found the leaf shaped handles to provide a perfect grip. Lastly the clean up of the popsicle maker was amazingly simple. If you are in the market for a popsicle maker certainly check out the Fresh Baby Popsicle Maker.
And the best news you will hear today is I am giving away a Fresh Baby Popsicle Maker to one lucky follower!
