A generous amount of sprinkles coupled with white cake mix produce the increasingly popular dessert known as Funfetti Cake. The original Funfetti Cake Mix was created by Pillsbury, however now you can find recipes for the sweet treats all over the internet. Today, the limits are endless for Funfetti themed desserts – you can find anything from Funfetti breakfast waffles to Funfetti creamy milkshakes.
To most people the idea of using black beans to produce a healthier brownie is not a new idea. However few recipes available at the present have tried white beans as a substitute in blondie recipes. I decided it was time to expand the available healthy blondie recipes.
Not only do beans provide additional protein and nutrients for the brownie recipes, but they offer a fat replacement and add moisture. While I think any white bean would work for this recipe, I decided to go with a can of chickpeas as my bean source. A food processor will be needed to puree the uncooked beans before mixing with the remaining ingredients. For a little nutrition information on chickpeas – one cup provides approximately 12 grams of fiber and 15 grams of protien.
Your family will not be able to stop eating this delicious and nutrient packed sweet treat! I know my family could not get enough.
Enjoy!

What a great idea! I made black bean brownies a few years ago, but I hadn't thought to add beans to other desserts. Sounds like a sweet and sneaky way to get a little extra fiber! (And who can ever resist rainbow sprinkles??)
