Fall is in the air! That means only one thing – apples and pumpkin inspired recipes will be in abundance.
Everything about this recipe reminds me of fall. From the apples themselves to the ingredients of the dip (caramel and spices) fall is here.
“Caramel Spice Apple Dip” is perfect for many occasions – it can be served as a snack for all ages or as a starter at your next party. I eat apples most days of the week. This recipe has been a delicious addition to my daily apple intake.
What is the key ingredient to this dip?
If you guessed greek yogurt you would be correct! You might have noticed the addition of greek yogurt to several of my recipes lately. Greek yogurt is an excellent source of protein and has a lower calorie content.
What are you waiting for you! Get mixing!

This diet sure is a great way to stay in shape, but often times, you just want to give that strict nutritional guidelines a rest. No sweets and all bland food simply won't do for me. That said, this caramel spice fruit dip on apples – which i guess also works well with bananas – is a fine way to satisfy that thirst for your good 'ol sweet tooth. Truth is, I am guilty of eating so much more than I can chew, especially during the holiday season, but a healthy dose of pgx daily helps to keep me in shape.

Okay, 0% fat! I'm still having trouble understanding carbs and calories. If they have associated numbers, would that also mean they are kind of fat alternatives? Man, this belly fat reduction plan is hunting me!

Apples are actually good for a healthy diet. Studies have shown that this fruit is an effective food for those who wishes to lose weight. One more effective way in losing weight that is effective at once is to exercise regularly; especially aerobics and cardio exercise, and of course don’t forget to slash fatty and sweet foods in your list and increase the intake of fruits and vegetables.

I will try to make this recipe on Sunday. I really love eating fruits even if I already have all the dietary supplements that I need.

This can be my natural energy supplement! Thanks for sharing. I think I might try this next week when I begin my exercise.

I've always though caramel is purely sugar, until I read that "sugar-free caramel syrup."
I'm about to start my low-calorie diet next week, and I'll probably use low-calorie sweeteners on my desserts. I could include this in my list!
Chelsea Millian says
Thanks for this recipe! I've been working on my diet and weight loss plans, and I don't recall having to avoid any of your ingredients, so technically, I'm allowed to eat this! I'll try this at home for dessert.

Sugar-free caramel syrup? Are there any other sweeteners aside from sugar and aspartame?
I'll try this recipe and give my diabetic aunt some of it. She'll love it when she finds out I used sugar-free caramel syrup. Thanks for sharing!

My children are all fussy eaters, but since I started making this dip for them, they chose to eat vegetables more! And they don't just eat it with apple – the eat it with peaches, carrots and celery. Thanks!

Good thing I read your disclaimer. My doctor actually advised me to use diabetic sweeteners but since I won't be using sugar for this (and the caramel syrup is sugar-free), then I would say it's safe to eat this. Still, I consulted my doctor about this, and he said it's alright. So that only means I'm making your recipe this weekend!

Fresh fruits and yogurt is my favourite diet food. I’ve never tried dipping any fruit into a yogurt.

Thanks for this recipe. As a mother who believes in prevention is better than cure, I'll have to train my kids to eat this healthy snack and prevent illnesses to lessen our expenses on medicine. Hope to read more of your healthy recipes!

Thanks! I always encourage my kids to eat this kind of snack instead of junk foods. I want them to receive proper vitamins and nutrients, and I'm so close to banning junk foods in our home already.

As a nutritionist, I would say, this is the kind of healthy snack I would recommend to anyone! The non-fat Greek yogurt itself is healthy enough, plus, apples are rich in vitamins and minerals. Thanks for sharing this.

Wow, looks like a real nice and lean sweet snack. I guess I can still make one even if it's no longer fall, just to have a health option for afternoon tea.
Gracie Pickering says
I would agree with what Stephanie said, this is a good and a healthy recipe especially for those people who maintains their figure. I will definitely try this new recipe.
