Obviously the title gives away that it is not popcorn and is actually cauliflower! :)
Cauliflower popcorn is an innovative and fun way to serve your family a veggie for a snack or part of a meal. All you need is a head of cauliflower, olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, onion power, and salt/pepper. Making cauliflower popcorn is super easy and great for all ages!
The length of time you choose to cook the cauliflower will depend on how sweet and crunchy you like it. When the cauliflower is cooked for a longer period of time it will become sweeter and more crunchy. I chose to cook mine for 30 minutes because my personal preference is not to have it overly brown.
It even looks like popcorn before it hits the oven.
1 head of cauliflower, chopped into small pieces to resemble popcorn
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit
2. Mix together all of the ingredients; spread in single layer on cookie sheet
3. Bake for 15 minutes; turn cauliflower over; bake for another 15 minutes
